Accessibility Statement

The Black Lineage & Heritage Institute is committed to building a site that is usable by every visitor, including those relying on assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the site. This includes semantic structure, keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, meaningful text alternatives, and sufficient color contrast.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. As new sections, forms, and programs are added to the site, they will be built and reviewed against the same standard.

Reporting an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the site, please let us know. Once contact routing is activated, reports may be sent to info@BlackLineageInstitute.com. We will respond and address confirmed barriers as promptly as we are able.
